Snow Day

The meteorologists had been predicting snow during the night. Jon was so excited he slept with the curtains open so he could see the snow, but when he woke up at 7:00 this morning it still had not snowed. Surprisingly by 8:00 it was snowing...and it snowed and snowed. The boys (Jon, Jackson and Drew) went outside twice to play. A very pregnant mom stayed inside while trying to take pictures through the window. November is Annual "take a trip to the emergency room month" with the Pipperts. Last Year Drew burnt his hands and this year he fell out of a Costco grocery cart and split his chin open. Luckily, a little wound glue and he was good to go.

I also got to visit the hospital in November. I was having contractions the week before Thanksgiving and the doctor recommended I come in. Unfortunately, they wanted to observe me and I had to stay overnight. The bed was so uncomfortable I couldn't sleep a wink. I couldn't wait to get home the next morning and thought about escaping many times during the night. I decided next time not to call until I see baby emerging.

For Thanksgiving, Jon's Dad (Grandpa "Bubs") came. Grandpa Bubs stayed at our house one night. It was fun to spend a little time with him. Grandpa,Jon,Jackson and Drew went bowling together and went to Pump it up (an inflatable jumping gym). Unfortunately, I didn't get to join them due to the recent contractions. The boys are excited for Christmas. They love looking at the Christmas lights, making "snow snakes" (flakes) and Christmas Cookies. Jackson was so impatient to get our Christmas tree he wanted to go with or without Dad. He could barely wait to get the tree inside to decorate it. Now, Jackson wants us to get lights for the outside of our house. (Probably not going to happen this year)

Jackson is learning how to spell. He can spell Zoo, Moo,Boo, Mom and Dad. Drew recently learned how to open doors. We have a hard time keeping him in time out now but he stays in his room most days after naps until we come to get him. They are both really great boys and so much fun.

Not much else was going on... We'll be sure to let you know when baby comes. Hopefully she'll be here soon.
