Here's the summary of our week:
July12: It was an uneventful day. We took Boomer to get his foot checked. (Part of the procedure to be sure it is healing OK.) I asked the Dr. about swimming and she said absolutely not. (Any of you who know me, know that I do not follow Dr's orders well...or for that fact anyone telling me what to do.) Boomer was in the pool that evening with some duct tape firmly wrapped on his foot. We also met with Abby our future potential babysitter.
July 13: morning swim lessons, we purchased a new Car seat for Sadie and flip flops for the kids. (We were hoping that this would resolve the crying a whining in the car but after a few days of the car seat we learned that it doesn't matter what the car seat is. She just doesn't like the car.)Dad laid off his field manager and came home a little early. Went to dinner at Mexican Restaurant. Sadie ran off during dinner and I followed her and found a great home store. I found a table I want to buy. Jon told me we could afford it in 3-5 years. That's the standard answer he's been using for about 3-5 years now.

Here's the slide that Sadie can't get enough of:
July 15: Morning swim lessons followed by an afternoon trip to Zoo Boise. We loved the Boise Zoo. It's just the right size for little ones.
July 16: AM Cleaned this darn little messy apartment in the morning. In the afternoon we went to the Discovery Center. It's a great way to learn science. There was all kind of displays explaining how things work...tornadoes, a green screen, bubbles, shopping area, veterinarian area etc. It's a really cool place but the kids would probably have enjoyed it better if they were a bit older.

July 17: Jon and Boys went fishing in the morning while Michelle read a book and Sadie took a nap. It is really pretty nice of Jon to humor the boys and take them fishing because he isn't too keen on fishing. Unfortunately for Jon, Jackson can't get enough of it. We need to find an avid fishermen to take the boys. Do we have any takers? Jackson told me he almost caught a big fish but it broke his line.
In the afternoon/evening we went to visit a former mission companion of Jon's. Had a BBQ at their house, went swimming in their pool.
