Not so Lucky at Fishing

July 8: We had swim lessons again but this time I was in the know and took all of our swimsuits. After the boys finished their swim we all got in the water and had a great time. They have a fantastic kids pool with a slide that Sadie couldn't get enough of. The boys had fun going down the big water slide. (We were too busy playing to get pictures..we'll get them next time.)
Two cute girls at the pool Jacie and Shelby helped me watch Sadie while I caught the boys at the bottom of the water slide. Sadie didn't want them to touch her and frowned at them the whole time.

After naps we went to Cabela's and got fishing poles. (Jackson's been asking for a fishing pole so he can make money. He wants to sell the fish that he catches.) We took the poles and drove up to Lucky Peak Lake. I have never fished before and it was quite the site trying to figure out what to purchase and then how to assemble it all. Unfortunately we couldn't find a good place to fish. We walked over to the docks, I attempted to cast the line out and it got all tangled up. After a few minutes I talked the boys into going home.

Jackson and Boomer found some huge dandelions they couldn't wait to blow.

We stopped for burritos at Chronic Taco. The name sounded cooler than the food was but the burritos were huge. I'm embarrassed to say I ate all of mine.

We went to the pool this evening and Boomer and Jackson took their fishing poles swimming. Literally, the boys had them down in the water swimming with them like they were swim toys...Good thing we got the insurance on them.
